Inverse design framework for optimizing solid propellant grains toward target performance profiles

This paper proposes a surrogate-assisted inverse design framework that integrates an artificial neural network (ANN) with a genetic algorithm (GA) to optimize solid rocket motor propellant grain geometries toward prescribed thrust-time profiles.
